Delete Account

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes the following data from our systems:

• All scanned documents and pages
• Exported PDFs and files
• Cloud sync data and backups
• Account settings and preferences

1. Open the AI Scan app on your device.
2. Go to Settings → Delete Account.
3. Enter your password to confirm, or leave it blank if you signed in with Google or Apple.
4. Check "I understand this is permanent and cannot be reversed" and tap Delete My Account.

In limited cases we are required to retain certain records after deletion:

• Legal & compliance records: Transaction logs required by applicable law, retained for up to 90 days.
• Aggregated analytics: Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
• Abuse prevention: If an account was flagged for abuse or fraud, limited records may be kept as permitted by law.

All retained data is automatically purged after the applicable retention period expires.

AI Scan uses an offline-first architecture. Scanned documents, OCR results, and exported files stored locally on your deviceare not removed by an account deletion request — you must delete those files manually from your device's storage.
